Last year we had the privilege to accommodate a group of youngsters for a few days. This group is part of the Hefy Organization.
This NPO prides themselves in serving in foreign countries by building important infrastructures.
The first part of the Hefy Group’s trip started in Johannesburg. From the airport, they made their way to Kruger Adventure Lodge. Here they were greeted with friendly faces and all of them divided into their rooms. After settling in and getting to know the area, the group made their way to the traditional Shangaan village where they learned more about this tribe and their way of living. Here, they also enjoyed a traditional dinner.
It was an early start to the next day as the group made their way to Pabeni Gate’s entrance. The team is set with blankets and coffee and ready to experience the South African bush. They made their way back to the lodge for a quick lunch before heading for a river rafting experience
Again, a traditional dinner was served in the bush bistro. Kruger Adventure Lodge surprised the group with a traditional dance.
On the last day, Kruger Adventure Lodge packs a delicious packed breakfast as the group wakes up early and makes their way to Mozambique where they will continue their journey.
